Planar Insanities

These insanities are those brought on by being exposed to wild realms, very deep locations of the Abyss, and any of a similar and alien nature.

Minor Insanities

  • Soul Sight
    • You see the souls of all things – however, this fills you with a sense of overpowerment, as there is far too much for you to fathom.
      • -4 to all Will Saves, Concentration checks are at -4
      • +20 to see any invisible or those between planes.
  • Changing Faces
    • All allies and enemies appear with ever-changing faces, often reminsicent of strange planar creatures.
      • Penalties to recognize friend from foe based upon appearance. Any information based upon the position of a friend/foe has a 30% chance of failure to comprehend. All Sense Motive and Diplomacy checks are at a -6.
  • Sight through Sound
    • All sight is lost, however you can hear the detail of all things around you, including the very textures upon paper, allowing reading while blind.
      • Loud noises can cause stunning DC 28 Fort

Medium Insanities

  • Soul Sight II (Piercing Understanding)
    • You see not only the souls, but the complex subtle reasonings of all things. This overpowers you if you have less than 20HD.
      • An additional -6 to all Will Saves and Concentration checks.
      • +20 to Sense Motive
  • Changing Faces II (Panicked Gaze)
    • When you fail to perceive the appearance of a friend or foe, you become Shaken, negated by a Will Save of 24.
  • Sight Through Sound II (Boundless Hearing)
    • You can see and read(unbound) most objects up to 60 feet, however much of this is far too great for your mind to handle.
      • 60 ft blindsight with full ability to read from afar.
      • Staggered if less than 20HD
