Narpaca
Narpaca are powerfully built goatlike humanoids, standing 6-7 feet, that populate the mountainous region north of Pentarex. They have the reputation generally of being a violent, savage race.
When the Pentarexians came to Kab, before the founding of their great city, there existed the great Narpaca empire with its channels, walls, pyramids, and great houses. These formidable creatures had devised a system by which they maintained control in the north, dominating disparate Narpaca tribes and any other opponents who might seek the wrest control from them. In this way order was kept and the Narpaca empire had the blessing, it was said, of the Xibalban forces of death and destruction. Civilization was made. So long as the sacrifices were kept, so did the Narpaca prosper and maintain their dominance.
But then came Pentarex. For a time they resisted the onslaught, but eventually fell to elemental magic as firestorm and snowstorm rained upon then, with bolts of lighting to rival the might of the great Thunderers. Such is how the Narpaca fell, their cities destroyed, their way of life all but extinguished. Such is how Pentarex was founded upon the three hills by the shore. Such is how the might of the Narpaca is no more, but for the tribes who struggle to maintain their existence, hiding in caves to the north. Now, they are reduced to a state of barbarism, struggling among one another for dominance and for survival.

- Ability Score Racial Traits: Narpaca are an aggressive race. They gain +2 Strength, +2 Dexterity, and -2 Intelligence.
- Size: Narpaca are Medium creatures and thus receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
- Type: Narpaca are humanoids with the Narpaca subtype.
- Base Speed: Narpaca have a base speed of 30 feet.
- Languages: Narpaca begin play speaking Common and Narpaca. Narpaca with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: High Pentarexian, Anatou Whisper, Hatun, Phage-speak, Nupi.
Racial Traits
- Relentless: +2 bonus on combat maneuver checks made to bull rush or overrun an opponent. This bonus only applies while both the member of this race and its opponent are standing on the ground.
- Stability +4 racial bonus to their CMD when resisting bull rush or trip attempts while standing on the ground.
- Climber: +20 climb speed
- Sprinter: +10 foot racial bonus to their speed when using the charge, run, or withdraw actions.
- Terrain Stride(mountainous): Move through natural difficult terrain at their normal speed while atop mountains or mountainous terrain. Magically altered terrain affects them normally.
- Jumper: Always considered to have a running start when making Acrobatics checks to jump.
- Natural Attack: Gore: primary natural attack 1d6 pierce.
- Low light vision:
- Beastial Features: Narpaca are unable to wear helmets or other items worn on the head, unless specially tailored to them. They may not wear shoes or boots due to their hooves, though they can wear horseshoes.
